Hi Bernie,When you read someone's writing about the afterlife, ask where their information came from. There are two primary sources: people living in the afterlife and people living on the Earth plane of life. If the information is coming from people living on the Earth plane of life, you really don't have any guarantee it describes eternal life. It's just best guesses or intuition. I wouldn't rely on that. If the information comes from people living on the next planes of life, through mental mediums or direct-voice mediums, then we know that's reliable information. It's from the best source we have available. The recordings I've heard of people living in the afterlife who have come through in seances suggest that we can choose the circumstances into which we incarnate to learn lessons, but not the details. They don't describe deciding beforehand the day we'll die or how. That just isn't in the records. Instead, our lives unfold with the circumstances we've chosen and even the people we've chosen to be with us in the incarnation, and we learn the lessons we set out to learn or not, and other lessons. We have an eternity to go through this process, so it isn't goal driven as a course in college is. We go into an incarnation and are helped by those on the next planes of life to learn the lessons we need to learn. Our life circumstances then determine when the body gives up. We don't drop dead at some moment predetermined in time, as far as we can tell from those in the afterlife who have spoken about it. Love and peace, Craig
