Those on the next plane of life can't communicate easily with us, so they do their best through whatever is easiest. Sounds, changes in electrical devices, smells, and so on are much easier than projecting an image.

Also, there are memories on the ether, a spiritual envelope that covers the Earth, and the memories can play back repeatedly. There's no living spirit there, just the memories on the ether.

Yes,there could be earthbound spirits there who either don't realize they're dead or do feel linked to the Earth and don't want to leave. They can't harm you, although they can make you feel uncomfortable. If they are the living spirits, speaking with them about their death can help them adjust. If it's just memories on the ether, bring happiness into the space. That changes the memory.
