Thanks, Craig, for your answer, but I think my puzzlement over 'something or nothing' relates partly to the mysterious state of our universe before the Big Bang. In effect, you said in your earlier statement that all the substance in the universe was compressed into something as small as a grain of sand, then it 'exploded' and, over billions of years, evolved into matter and eventually ourselves. Like many others, no doubt, I have difficulty in imagining how so much could have been compressed into so lttle, a pinpoint with an infinite sea of nothingness around it. Above all, there is the huge question, which the cleverest of scientists haven't been able to answer, of what happened before? I know they say that time and space came into being with the Big Bang but what was before is still a mystery. If there was a chain of causes and effects going back without a beginning I find difficulty in making sense of what is happening NOW, because there must always have been something BEFORE to 'prevent' us reaching this point in time. This sounds daft, but perhaps a different way of putting it is to say that we cannot imagine existence without a beginning, neither can we imagine it with a beginning, i.e. something coming out of nothing!

I hope you are right and that everything is in the mind of, and the expression of God. There is a vast amount of evidence that we go on after death, not least on your website and the Leslie Flint recordings, etc. However, I don't think I would want to exist 'without end' if there were no benevolent God.
