Yes, we move in two primary directions in our eternal lives: in spiritual growth and toward happiness. We are growing in this lifetime, but much of it is preoccupied with developing the self through the struggles going on in it. We will continue to grow in love, for man and God, in understanding, and in our focus on the eternal and spiritual. At the same time, we are meant to be contented and happy; that's what the Higher Power offers us and we just have to accept it to enjoy it.
As a result, in the next plane of life, we'll enjoy things we can't on this plane. Whatever we wish we could have done, we'll be able to do it. If someone wanted to be a pianist, he or she will be able to do so in the next life. We will be with the circle of people we love and be able to grow even closer through our experiences on the next plane and reincarnating together.
Traveling to other places and times is for both goals. We will learn about ourselves and other people by seeing how people lived at other times and the experiences they had. That will help us grow spiritually. At the same time, we'll enjoy the experience and the adventure of it. That will be the opportunities for happiness through discovery and wonder.
The opportunities we have during the rest of our eternal lives are vast. Death is just the transition out of this more difficult period where we're learning hard lessons into the period of rest and more contented growth. We're in boot camp now, and we mustn't get discouraged about the trials and obstacles. They're preparing us for the next periods in our eternal life.
Love and peace, Craig
