Hello Elaine,

You wrote,
You said we drop off our bodies, but, the man who passed over and was met by his horse Jenny, was licked on the face by his horse. How is that dropping off the body? Both the horse and the man seemed to have had one.

Those on the next planes of life describe having a rarified or etheric body. Some on this side of life describe the body that grows and matures at the same time the physical grows as the astral body.

This body they have is just as solid and real as our bodies on this plane of life. We vibrate in tune with chairs and trees and mountains and the body we have on this plane. It seems solid to us. However, it isn't at all solid. It's made up mostly of empty space. If the nucleus of an atom were the size of a grain of salt in the middle of St. Paul's Basilica, the electrons would be the size of particles of dust whirling around at the outside walls of the building. Most of an atom is empty space.

These subatomic particles themselves are made up of smaller particles that, at the smallest level, are loops and strings of electromagnetic energy. There's nothing "solid" about them.

And so, our bodies aren't really solid. We just feel them to be solid. The bodies those on the next planes of life are just as solid as ours, but they vibrate at a different level, so they feel their bodies just as we feel ours, and they walk and sit and see mountains and horses, just as we do. But it's in a different body, free of disease and deformity. There is no aging. People who are older on the Earth plane appear as being in their 20s or 30s. Children who pass out of the Earth plane grow up in the next life and have mature bodies when their loved ones cross over to meet them.

So they do have bodies just as we do. Their bodies are like the physical bodies because the astral body matures as the Earth body does. But they're on a different vibration.

Love and peace, Craig
