Thanks Craig for taking the time to give me such a well thought out response. In my question about communication changing I probably should have but a time on it regarding our loved ones going to higher realms and us hearing from them less - is that something that happens over the course of years for us? My fiance only passed three months ago and he was here almost ever day and very very strong. I've read of books being channeled and spirit contact that's happens frequently for decades. I speak to my fiance every day and listen for him and still hear him but I don't feel him touching me or his energy as strongly. Nevertheless I talk to him daily so if our loved ones come to us when we talk or think about them, shouldn't he still be here daily?

I'm not sure if my sensitivity is less now or if something has changed on his side. Is it feasible to think a spirit moves to a higher realm in a matter of months or is that something that happens over the course of years as we get on with our lives? I'm trying to discern an answer in my incidence to know if I need to change or study new way of spirit communication.
