You asked about whether voices came through to the direct-voice mediums in different languages. Yes, they have come through in a variety of different languages the mediums didn't know. I have the recording of only one, sung by a Roman woman. You can hear it at http://adcguides.com/romansinging.htm . I imagine there are recordings of other languages, but I don't have them.
