You asked,
Why are we here on earth? What is the purpose? Why were we created mortal any way?

Those on the next planes of life describe Earth as a "nursery." On the Earth plane, we have the entire gamut of possibilities that become the scenery that helps us grow to mental maturity so we can begin to grow spiritually. We have to face and overcome the obstacles to become who we are. The physical realm is the world of beginnings and endings. That enables us to see things end so we stop attending to them, and for new things to begin, so we face new challenges and learn from them. We have the Earth plane to develop so we can continue our spiritual growth on the next planes of life.

Those on the next planes of life tell us that the purpose of life is to grow spiritually, to help others grow spiritually, and to evolve the human spirit so all of society on the Earth plane enjoys peace, brotherhood, tolerance, love, and compassion. Bliss, joy, confidence in our eternal natures, loss of all fears, reduction or elimination of disease, worldwide peace, elimination of all violence, and feelings of love and brotherhood among all people will follow as natural consequences if these goals are achieved.

In that way, we will develop more into the likeness of God, and we will know that all others are one with us and with the Higher Power. We will become energized and empowered by the Higher Power in ways we now don’t understand and aren’t open to yet. That will change us and humankind.

The Earth is a school, and we are the students. Our purpose is to learn in this school so we progress spiritually and we help humankind progress spiritually.
