Hello Roxana,

Yes, there are angels, but not as described in the Bible.

The notion of angels having wings was an ancient conception that arose from the fact that the ancients believed heaven or the abode of God was in the sky. They had no idea about the vastness of the universe. They believed the sky was a canopy with holes where the light of heaven or God's abode shone through. We now know those are stars, some many millions of light years away. God lived on the other side of this canopy. Even to the first century, Yeshua (Jesus) was portrayed as arising into the sky to go to heaven.

As a result, the ancients had to figure out a way that divine beings could get around in the sky. They decided they must have wings. It's just a primitive mythology.

However, you are never alone. There are guides and people who have preceded you who are now on the next plane of life who are constantly available to help you and give you guidance. Everything in your life is in your best interests. They don't stand over you in a physical sense. Instead, they're with you in your thoughts and feelings in a mental sense. When you're worried, they know that and do what they can to help you rise out of that. They never interfere with your free will because you're learning lessons and you have to make your own decisions. But they're always helping. They're your angels, but they don't have wings.

Love and peace, Craig
